## Description

HeartHead Inc. is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to make mental health care more accessible and affordable. Its mission is to help people pay for therapy, addressing the out-of-pocket costs that can lead clients to cancel or leave treatment, even when they have insurance or an Employee Assistance Program. HeartHead partners with therapists to negotiate lower prices and provide financial assistance, helping more people access care while supporting fair compensation for providers. Visitors can apply for assistance and are told to expect contact within 24 to 48 hours.

Alongside financial support, HeartHead offers Positive Psychology coaching focused on human flourishing, personal strengths, and progress toward mental health goals. The organization also shares mental health resources and information through its website, blog, and community content. Its approach encourages people to treat mental and physical health as equally important and to speak openly about well-being. HeartHead sells branded merchandise, with proceeds helping fund its mission.
