## Description

Heartland Cares is a community-led, not-for-profit care organisation serving rural Perthshire. HEARTLAND CARES COLLECTIVE LTD is a company limited by guarantee and a registered Scottish charity. Its purpose is to help people live independently at home through care and support shaped with local communities and informed by the knowledge of local staff and volunteers.

From winter 2026, Heartland Cares plans to deliver services in Rannoch and Tummel, Dunkeld and Birnam, and surrounding areas. Its services will include professional Care at Home and personal care tailored to individual needs, as well as connections to local volunteers who can offer companionship and practical help. Care Connectors will help people access appropriate support and connect with nearby volunteer services. The organisation also welcomes volunteers and offers flexible local care-work opportunities, with training and support.

Heartland Cares says its income is reinvested in care provision and community wellbeing. It works with volunteers, aiming to support them and ensure they undergo appropriate checks.
