## Description

The Heavy Hitter’s Project is a Great Falls, Montana-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2025 to support veterans, first responders, and the people who love them. Built by people with personal experience of military and first-responder life, the organization offers a welcoming community where people can connect without having to face difficult times alone.

Its programs include a free, two-hour mental-health stream every Wednesday evening on Twitch, with replays available on YouTube, and an open peer-support Discord with channels for veterans, first responders, and families. The server is monitored by moderators with lived experience, and the organization also provides referrals to relevant support services.

The Hachi Fund offers confidential, short-term emergency assistance to veterans and first responders facing sudden expenses, including veterinary bills, utilities, and transportation for family emergencies. The organization aims to respond to applications within 48 hours. Donations help fund the assistance program and maintain the stream and Discord. Supporters can also contribute through the organization’s shop, where merchandise proceeds go to the Hachi Fund.
