## Description

Hebammenloft is a midwifery practice and family-focused community space in Iserlohn, Germany, founded and led by midwife Sarah Schotte. Its team of four experienced midwives supports families from pregnancy through birth, the postpartum period and beyond, offering professional guidance with a focus on informed, self-directed birth and a supported start with a new baby. The loft is designed as a welcoming, safe place for expectant parents, mothers, fathers and families to find care, connection and wellbeing.

Its courses and workshops cover different stages of pregnancy and family life, including birth preparation, postnatal recovery, pregnancy yoga, fitness, baby massage and parent-and-baby groups. Families can also explore creative workshops and child first-aid courses. In addition to midwifery care and classes, the practice works with external specialists who offer services such as osteopathy and massage. Some activities are available to anyone, whether or not they receive midwifery care at the loft. Hebammenloft also shares practical family guidance through its blog and welcomes enquiries from prospective partners and workshop hosts.
