## Description

Heide e.V. Döckingen is a volunteer-supported association rooted in the youth community of the Gmoahaus Döckingen. Established as an association after organizing its first festival in 1999, it works to help preserve the local cultural landscape through live music and community events. Its best-known event is Die Heide Raucht, a three-day open-air festival that gives regional and emerging bands the opportunity to perform for a festival audience. The association also presents the Rocknacht, which has reached its fourth edition, and organizes smaller gatherings that celebrate local culture and community life. These include its “gepflegte Abendkultur” events, concerts and the traditional Maypole raising. Heide e.V. Döckingen also supports the local Christmas market and Kirchweih celebration. Its activities bring residents, volunteers, musicians and visitors together through accessible cultural experiences. Guided by the themes of festival, enjoyment and family, the association combines live music with long-standing local traditions, creating opportunities for artists to perform and for the community to take part in shared events.
