## Description

Museum De Heksenwaag, located in Oudewater, serves as a poignant reminder of the witch trials that plagued Europe during the 15th to 17th centuries. This unique museum invites visitors from around the globe to explore its rich history, particularly the famous Waag, where individuals accused of witchcraft could stand on a scale to prove their innocence. For nearly a century, it has offered a certified experience that not only highlights historical injustices but also encourages reflection on modern-day issues of exclusion and discrimination.

The museum features the innovative exhibition "ANDERS?!" which draws parallels between past and present societal challenges, making it an engaging place for all ages, including school groups and families. Open seasonally from April to November, Museum De Heksenwaag welcomes everyone to discover its captivating narrative and partake in thought-provoking discussions around justice and humanity. Visitors are encouraged to reserve their visits in advance and engage with the stories that continue to resonate today.
