## Description

Heliad is a Frankfurt-based venture capital firm investing in visionary startups and growth companies across Europe. With locations in Frankfurt, Berlin, and San Francisco, it partners with founders from the earliest stages and aims to support promising businesses through growth, IPO, and beyond. Heliad invests in pre-seed to Series A companies through its fully owned early-stage vehicle, Collective Ventures, bringing founders a network of family business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs. For growth-stage investments, Heliad invests directly from its evergreen balance sheet, enabling long-term support without the constraints of a fund life cycle.

The firm’s distinctive focus is helping portfolio companies access capital markets. Its Capital Collective brings expertise in venture debt, equity financing, and mergers and acquisitions, supporting financial strategy, growth funding, and strategic exits. Heliad’s portfolio spans areas including artificial intelligence, robotics, next-generation finance, digital health, energy transition, and mobility. Companies highlighted by the firm include askLio, ARX Robotics, Enpal, Raisin, Nelly, Gaia, and FINN, offering products and services in procurement automation, robotics, renewable energy, financial technology, healthcare administration, fertility care, and car subscriptions.
