## Description

Friday is an agent harness platform from Tempest Labs, Inc. that runs on your Mac, bringing memory, tools, scheduling, and orchestration together in one system. Users describe a task in plain language, and Friday configures the agents, tools, triggers, and workflow steps without requiring orchestration code. Workflows can be started through conversation or run on a schedule, with each step, input, output, and timing available for inspection. Configurations are readable, versionable, and shareable, and users can browse, import, and export ready-made “spaces” for common tasks.

The platform connects apps, scripts, tools, and MCP servers, and supports coordination among specialized agents such as planners, executors, and reviewers. Workflows can also be managed through Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, or Microsoft Teams. Friday stores its memory and user data locally, keeping workflows private and under the user’s control. Available for macOS, it includes example spaces for uses such as GitHub reviews, inbox management, competitive monitoring, and personal knowledge management.
