## Description

Kaleido is a diabetes technology brand focused on giving people who use insulin greater choice and flexibility in managing daily life. Its compact, reusable insulin pump can be worn on the body as a patch or carried in a pocket, with short or longer tubing and a range of colour combinations. The pump holds 200 units of usable insulin, weighs 19 grams, is rechargeable, and is designed for use in water up to 1.5 metres deep for as long as one hour. Kaleido also offers a hybrid closed-loop system combining its pump with Diabeloop’s DBLG2 smartphone control and the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitoring system. The DBLG2 self-learning algorithm uses glucose data to adjust insulin delivery and supports meal announcements and exercise settings. Users can review glucose information through Diabeloop’s YourLoops online platform and share access with healthcare professionals or family. Kaleido’s offering includes reusable pumps, single-use cartridges and infusion sets, starter kits, product demonstrations, and customer support.
