## Description

Mitzi is a self-guided estate planning platform designed to help women and families put important decisions in writing. Founded by estate planning attorney Katie Katz, who spent 15 years working with families, Mitzi offers a plain-English process that requires no legal or financial expertise. Users answer questions at their own pace, review their information, and generate foundational planning documents, often in under an hour.

The platform helps people prepare a financial power of attorney, a patient advocate designation with HIPAA authorization, a living will or advance directive, and a guardianship designation for children. It also provides secure document storage, with guidance on printing, signing, and uploading completed documents. Mitzi is free to start, with a $99 charge when users are ready to complete their plan; storage is free. Its planning library, glossary, FAQs, checklists, and educational resources help users understand the process and prepare for conversations with loved ones. Mitzi is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice; estate planning laws vary by state.
