## Description

Helmet is the collective library network serving the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, encompassing the city libraries of Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen, and Vantaa. With over 60 libraries and nearly 800 staff members, Helmet provides a comprehensive range of services to meet the needs of over a million residents. The online platform, helmet.fi, allows users to easily reserve and borrow a vast selection of books, movies, and other materials available at local libraries. Additionally, patrons can renew loans, browse library events, and access news and suggestions from the libraries. With a Helmet library card, members can enjoy borrowing privileges across all network libraries and return items at any location. The network also offers e-library services, digital support, and convenient self-service libraries, making it easier than ever to access information and resources. Helmet's collaborative approach enhances the library experience, enabling offerings that would not be possible individually, benefiting the diverse and multilingual community in the region.
