# Higher Elevations Learning Place - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `help-pdx.com` ## Description Higher Elevations Learning Place is an early childhood education and childcare center in Northeast Portland, Oregon, serving children from six weeks to six years. Its learning environment is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, encouraging children to explore questions and interests while teachers observe, guide, and learn alongside them. Care for infants and the youngest toddlers also draws on RIE principles, supporting each child’s pace and autonomy. The center’s six age-based rooms—Sprouts, Buttercups, Huckleberries, Bluebirds, Mt. Rainier Hawks, and Mt. Baker Chickadees—provide settings for early relationships, language, curiosity, and preschool learning. Higher Elevations emphasizes partnership with families, recognizing their knowledge of each child and incorporating family perspectives into the year. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and offers a USDA-supported breakfast, lunch, and snacks. ERDC is welcome. Families can contact the center or book a tour to learn about its programs and approach. The organization also highlights community connections and supporters as part of its broader commitment to children and families. ## Industries - 🏝 Lifestyle - 🏝 Childcare _(under Lifestyle)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083102880857) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/helppdxsocial) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idfO46q71L/w/755/h/302/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1755875680339) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idfO46q71L/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793038551427) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Casablanca | #f9ad4d | accent | | Endeavour | #024d9f | dark | | Orange White | #fefaf0 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - wix-madefor-text-v2 — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
