## Description

Help a Reporter Out (HARO) is a media-connection service that brings journalists and expert sources together to support story development. Journalists can submit queries describing the information or expertise they need, while sources can sign up to receive daily media opportunities and respond to relevant requests. The service promotes free access to daily media queries, giving sources a way to discover opportunities to contribute to journalism and helping reporters connect with people who can inform their stories.

HARO’s offerings also include press releases and advertising, alongside resources such as its blog and news updates. The site provides information about the service, including terms and privacy details, and offers contact options for users. For people who want to access HARO queries through a platform, the site points to Connectively, presented as an option powered by Featured, an AI co-pilot for public relations. Overall, HARO focuses on making journalist-source connections more accessible through query submission, daily opportunity listings, and related media services.
