HelpingHands PA is dedicated to providing a safe, pleasurable, sociable, and educational program experience for intellectually and physically disabled adults. With over 30 years of experience, HelpingHands has been supporting individuals and families impacted by physical and intellectual disabilities. At HelpingHands PA, we offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our Day Program provides activities for adults over the age of 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting successful lives and community connections. We also have an Aging/Senior Program for individuals who have retired from work or traditional day services but still want to remain active. Additionally, our Work Activity Center offers vocational training experiences and the opportunity to learn job skills while earning a paycheck. We have six community homes that provide warm and caring residential settings, accommodating medical, dental, and specialized nutritional needs. Our Social Recreation Program promotes socialization for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through activities such as swimming, bowling, movie nights, and sporting events. During the summer, we run a Camp/Shore Program, providing age-appropriate socialization experiences in both structured camp weeks and vacation-like shore weeks.
