## Description

HELP is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization working across districts in Sindh, Pakistan. It has tax-exemption status and is certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy. The organization focuses on improving the health, safety, education, and livelihoods of disadvantaged communities, with particular attention to mothers and children.

HELP’s services span education, maternal and child health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), shelter, livelihood support, research, and emergency relief. It operates community health workers and maternal and child health centers in urban slums, and supports early childhood and pre-primary education for economically disadvantaged children. Its WASH work includes water filtration plants, community wells, solar wells, and hand pumps, while shelter programs help homeless families access permanent housing. Through its Nutrition Resource Centre, the organization conducts research and training on maternal and child nutrition. Its research also addresses maternal and child health and immunization, with findings published in national and international journals.
