Welcome to the Henderson County Heritage Museum, located in Historic Courthouse Square in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Our museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history and cultural heritage of Henderson County. Step back in time as you explore our current exhibits, which cover a wide range of topics including the Coming of the Railroad, the Civil War, Shepherd's Store, Let Freedom Ring, and Life Along the Ridge. You can also experience virtual tours of the museum from the comfort of your own home. In addition to our exhibits, we also offer summer camps for children, where they can learn about local history in a fun and interactive way. Our museum is also home to the Revolutionary Hall, the Courthouse Room, the Veterans Hall, and a Quilt Exhibit. We are grateful for the support of our dedicated volunteers and the Chinquapin Hill Society.
