## Description

Henzel Studio is a Swedish design house founded by Calle Henzel in 1999, known for collectible, custom-made art rugs that bring contemporary art and craftsmanship into interior spaces. Its works are hand-knotted using carefully considered materials and techniques, with texture, pile, colour and construction shaping each design’s visual character.

The studio’s collections include Calle Henzel’s signature designs, limited editions and collaborations with contemporary artists and estates. Collaborators represented in its programme include Andy Warhol, Richard Prince, Marilyn Minter, Mickalene Thomas, Carsten Höller, Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. These projects translate distinct artistic ideas into textile compositions, extending the dialogue between art and collectible design.

Henzel Studio offers bespoke commissions tailored to a space, including custom dimensions, colours and shapes. Its Quick Ship selection provides completed rugs and designs available on shorter production timelines, with availability and specifications varying by piece. The studio also provides guidance for collectors, interior designers, architects and institutions, supporting rug selection and project planning.
