## Description

Heraklion Bridge Club (OMI) is a bridge club based in Heraklion, Crete, and a member of the Hellenic Bridge Federation. Founded in 1990 by students and other enthusiasts, the club brings people together to enjoy competitive bridge and welcomes players at different levels. Its accessible, comfortable premises are located at 73 Dimokratias Avenue in central Heraklion.

The club offers regular playing sessions and organizes events for both experienced players and newcomers. Its weekly schedule includes open sessions on Sundays and Wednesdays, alongside category-based sessions on Mondays and Thursdays. Some events are held simultaneously with clubs across Greece, allowing participants to compare results nationally. OMI also hosts team events, three-day pairs and teams competitions, and an annual marathon, and takes part in Crete-wide championships with other local clubs. From time to time, it arranges bridge tournaments and outings in open-air settings, combining the game with social activities. Through its games, events, and welcoming facilities, Heraklion Bridge Club supports the enjoyment and development of bridge in its community.
