# Herdade da Contenda - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `herdadedacontenda.pt` ## Description Herdade da Contenda is a public estate owned by the Municipality of Moura, set amid the landscapes of Portugal’s Alentejo near the Spanish border. Its integrated approach brings together nature conservation, biodiversity, tourism and traditional rural activities. The estate’s varied habitats include cork oak, holm oak and pine woodland, streams and open landscapes, supporting wildlife such as red deer, wild boar and mouflon, as well as a colony of cinereous vultures. Visitors can explore the area through guided visits, walking and equestrian routes, birdwatching, ornithological tourism and dark-sky experiences. The estate also offers cultural and hunting tourism, with a National Hunting Zone that manages populations of large game species. Alongside these activities, livestock farming and beekeeping contribute to the local economy. Honey is produced using hives distributed across 20 apiaries and processed at the estate’s extraction and packing centre. Through visitor experiences, training and sustainability projects, Herdade da Contenda promotes the appreciation of its natural heritage and the responsible use of local resources. ## Industries - ✈️ Travel and Tourism - ✈️ Tourist Attractions _(under Travel and Tourism)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Camping Scouting and Outdoors _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/herdadedacontenda) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/herdadedacontendaem) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idwFAZ3Fvz/w/619/h/293/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790817218072) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idwFAZ3Fvz/w/320/h/320/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790817218155) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Chateau Green | #2fb44a | accent | | Hint of Green | #fafffc | light | | Parsley | #115520 | dark | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ - Roboto — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
