## Description

Hermet is a care technology brand offering María, a conversational AI designed for older adults and developed by healthcare professionals. María provides personalized phone conversations using a person’s existing landline or mobile, with no app, tablet, or new device required. The service helps care organizations extend daily companionship and monitoring without adding staffing demands.

During conversations, María naturally supports cognitive stimulation, including memory, attention, verbal fluency, and time orientation. It also monitors for changes in mood, sleep, speech, routines, and reported wellbeing, then sends care teams prioritized alerts and contextual summaries to help them respond. Depending on the service, it can support telecare providers, home-care teams, residential care centers, and insurers. Features include routine follow-up, emotional trends, resident-specific reports, reminders, and integration with CRMs, alert systems, and emergency protocols.

Hermet’s clinical team, with expertise in mental health, neuropsychology, and geriatrics, designs conversation flows, cognitive activities, and alert criteria based on scientific literature and older adults’ needs. Implementation is tailored to each organization’s protocols, with ongoing review and adjustment.
