Welcome to Hermon, the Home of the Hawks! At Hermon School Department, our mission is to prepare students for personal success in college, career, and community. We serve 565 students from Hermon, Carmel, Levant, and Glenburn in grades 9-12, with a dedicated team of 40 professional staff members, 60% of whom hold advanced degrees. Our curriculum offers a wide range of opportunities for academic growth.

We provide 13 Honors Courses, 9 on-site AP courses, and 11 virtual AP courses. Additionally, we offer 10 on-site college courses in Accounting, Computer Concepts, Web Design, and Computer Applications. Our programs also include valuable associations with Penobscot Job Corps, Career and Technical Education at United Technologies Center in Bangor, and Early College Programs through local post-secondary institutions.

We prioritize the well-being of our students and offer various services such as health services, transportation, and special education.
