Throughout its history, the brand has undergone name changes, from Botanical Pharmaceuticals to Elan Botanicals, all with a focus on highlighting the importance of quality. In 2001, Dr.

Heron sold the company to Dr. Eric Yarnell and herb farmers Jeff and Liz Bodony, who renamed it Heron Botanicals in honor of its founder. Today, Heron Botanicals prides itself on being an extensive apothecary, producing tinctures in small batches.
