# HerpetologistsLeague - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `herpetologistsleague.org` ## Description The Herpetologists’ League (HL) is an international organization established in 1946 for people interested in herpetology, the study of amphibians and reptiles. Its mission is to promote scientific research and conservation of these animals, support the development of knowledge, and share discoveries with the broader community. The League advances this work through publications, conferences, and symposia, including its annual meeting and opportunities for researchers to present current findings. HL publishes the journals Herpetologica and Herpetological Monographs, which members can access online. It also supports students and early-career scientists through awards, research grants, student presentation opportunities, and initiatives such as free student memberships. Membership benefits may include discounted registration for the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists, access to a network of herpetologists, and the option to connect with a mentor. The League promotes inclusion and equity in research, teaching, and mentoring, and seeks to welcome people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Biology _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/HerpetologistsLeague) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/herpetologistsleague) - [twitter](https://twitter.com/HerpLeague) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idNUqyl8W-/w/106/h/75/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793747798366) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idNUqyl8W-/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793747798467) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Boulder | #777777 | accent | | Buddha Gold | #b8a000 | dark | | Cornflower Blue | #66afe9 | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
