# Hestóvin Stables Therapeutic Riding Center - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `hestovinstables.org` ## Description Hestóvin Stables is a therapeutic riding center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, dedicated to helping children and adults experience the emotional, mental, cognitive, social, and physical benefits of therapeutic horsemanship. Its name means “Horse Oasis” in Icelandic, reflecting the organization’s belief that horses can teach, inspire, and heal. The stable works with Icelandic horses and offers individualized Therapeutic Riding Lessons for people seeking support with a range of challenges. Participants develop riding skills and relationships with the horses as part of a goal-oriented partnership. On-Ground Lessons provide one-on-one experiences with the equines and are led by personnel certified as CTRI or ESMHL. Hestóvin also hosts workshops, seasonal events, and other activities centered on interaction with its herd. Additional offerings include private event rentals, opportunities for artists and photographers, presentations, and barn tours. The organization welcomes volunteers and donations, and provides information about its horses, programs, and events through its website. Visits are by appointment, with prospective participants and visitors encouraged to contact the stable to schedule. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Alternative and Natural Medicine _(under Health)_ - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Horses _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/61561028087326) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/hestovinstables_trc) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — SVG, PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQeB0QVw8/theme/dark/logo.svg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792432198685) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idQeB0QVw8/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792432198782) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Midnight Blue | #00205c | accent | | Whiskey | #cda368 | light | | Woodland | #3e562b | dark | ## Fonts - Lato — asset _(google)_ - Lato — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
