## Description

HETA Asset Resolution is a wind-down company owned by the Republic of Austria. Its primary objective is to effectively dispose of the non-performing assets of the Hypo Alpe Adria, which was nationalized in 2009, while preserving their value. Following the approval of the European Commission in September 2013, the Hypo-Sondergesetz was enacted in July 2014 by the Austrian National Council, leading to the establishment of HETA Asset Resolution. In 2021, the portfolio reduction of HETA in accordance with § 84 Abs 10 BaSAG was completed. The Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) issued a ruling on December 29, 2021, for the commencement of HETA Asset Resolution AG's equity-based liquidation, now operating as HETA ASSET RESOLUTION AG i.A..
