It brings the rural past to life, showing how life in the countryside more than a century ago developed into the present day. Visitors can explore 22 historic buildings and discover how people once lived and worked. The museum’s exhibits and activities focus on village life, the Hoogeland landscape, and the region’s relationship with the Wadden Sea and its clay soils. Visitors can plan a museum visit, explore a site map and background information, and attend scheduled activities and events. The museum also offers educational visits for schools, group arrangements that combine a museum visit with hospitality, and facilities for meetings, courses, workshops, and seminars. Its on-site Spijslokaal provides a hospitality option, while the museum shop offers another part of the visitor experience. The museum maintains historic buildings, including a school dating from 1887 and a schoolmaster’s house from 1884. It also welcomes donors and gifts in support of its work. ## Industries - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Science and Education ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/HetHoogeland) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/museumhethoogeland) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/openluchtmuseum-het-hoogeland) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idFLAYn8_7/w/165/h/106/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792069220190) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idFLAYn8_7/w/2017/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792069220839) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Punch | #de3831 | accent | | Chathams Blue | #134c75 | dark | | Malibu | #8ed1fc | light | ## Fonts - Kreon — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
