## Description

Pulse is an event discovery and community app operated by HEYPULSE TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED, built in Lagos for people looking to connect through local events. Available free on iOS and Android, it helps users find concerts, parties, tech meetups, pop-ups, and other events happening nearby. Users can browse what is on, see who is attending, RSVP to free events, and buy tickets to paid ones within the app.

Pulse extends the experience beyond event discovery. Each event can bring together a community, with group chats, a community feed, direct messages, and tools for discovering people. The idea is to help users connect before and after attending, so relationships can continue beyond the event itself. Users can set their city and interests to find relevant activities, with pricing and payments designed for local markets.

For event organisers, Pulse offers ticket sales and guest check-in, charging a flat 5% fee, with proceeds paid directly to the organiser’s account. The service is presented as free for users, with no ads or premium tier required.
