## Description

Taby is a personal AI assistant for Mac and Windows, designed to sit at the top of your screen and help you stay organized and focused. Its free version runs AI directly on your computer, works without an internet connection, and keeps tasks, notes, habits, reminders, and other personal data stored locally. Taby can help plan your day, answer questions about your activity, find saved notes, set reminders, and block distracting sites such as YouTube and Instagram.

Users can choose the free local experience or subscribe to Taby Premium for €8.99 per month, which adds cloud-based AI, calendar connections, voice features, web search, image understanding, and more natural-sounding voices. Premium requests are handled under a zero-data-retention policy, according to the site. Taby also offers a physical device for €79.99, with a do-it-yourself option. Some features, including video generation and actions that click, type, or open apps, are listed as coming soon. Taby is built to make everyday computer use more supportive, private, and less distracting.
