## Description

The Hanseatic Flying Club Berlin e.V. (HFC) is an aviation club in Berlin and part of Deutsche Lufthansa AG’s employee sports program. Although associated with Lufthansa, it is also open to anyone interested in flying. The club supports members in developing and maintaining their aviation skills through instruction from qualified, committed ground-school and flight instructors, including professional pilots from Lufthansa and other major airlines.

HFC offers training for the Private Pilot Licence (PPL-A), as well as opportunities to gain additional qualifications, including a night-flying licence. Members can also charter single-engine aircraft at affordable rates. Beyond training and aircraft access, the club provides a community for people of all ages who are licensed to fly and want to share their interest in aviation throughout the year. It encourages regular flying to build experience and support flight safety, and offers an internal ride-sharing platform for members who wish to arrange flights outside club gatherings. The club combines practical flight opportunities with ongoing learning and connection among aviation enthusiasts.
