## Description

The Höhlenforschergruppe Karlsruhe is a caving group based in Karlsruhe, Germany, sharing information about its training and exploration activities. Its members meet regularly outside school holidays, with gatherings at youth facilities in Karlsruhe. The group also organizes rope-technique training at a local climbing tower, including sessions focused on single-rope techniques. Its program brings together practical skills development, cave exploration and research, and opportunities for members to exchange knowledge.

The group’s website serves as a hub for meeting dates, training schedules, field reports, research updates and notices. Published reports cover activities such as cave and mine visits, geological work, climbing and rope exercises, and training trips in regions including the French Jura, Doubs and the Hunsrück. The site also shares information relevant to access and conservation, including lists of temporarily restricted climbing areas to protect peregrine falcons. Alongside its regular activities, the Höhlenforschergruppe Karlsruhe documents its history and recognizes the contributions of long-standing members. Its work combines outdoor exploration, technical education and the study and documentation of underground environments.
