Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and donating custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans. Their mission is to enable these Veterans to rebuild their lives after sacrificing so much for our country. Many of these Veterans have sustained injuries such as multiple limb amputations, paralysis, or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI).

What sets HFOT apart is their commitment to Rebuilding Lives. They provide essential support beyond just building homes, including a pro-bono financial planner, homeownership education, and warranty coverage. HFOT stays with the Veterans after home delivery to ensure their long-term success as homeowners.

They also have a peer mentoring program and collaborate with nonprofits, corporations, and government entities to assist with employment, education, and health needs. Since 2004, HFOT has built over 350 specially adapted homes, with the goal of providing a home for every qualifying Veteran. They have received top ratings from Charity Navigator, Charity Watch, and the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance.
