## Description

The Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (HFRI), established in 2016, plays a crucial role in advancing the research landscape in Greece. It is dedicated to funding high-quality scientific projects and scholarships across various disciplines without thematic or geographic limitations. HFRI is committed to supporting the scientific community by financing research projects, acquiring high-value research equipment, and promoting initiatives that connect science with societal needs.

In addition to basic research financing, HFRI is involved in emblematic actions that enhance its impact on society, such as the promotion of gender equality and collaborative projects, including participation in European programs like SEE-ERA under the Horizon Europe framework. The organization's strategic operational planning and annual calls ensure a steady flow of funding opportunities for PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and academic staff. By fostering innovative research and strengthening institutional frameworks, HFRI continues to elevate Greece's position in the global scientific arena.
