## Description

The Hidden Genius Project is a national nonprofit organization that was founded in 2012 by five Black male entrepreneurs/technologists. They were inspired to create the organization after recognizing the significant disparity between the high unemployment rates among Black male youth and the abundant career opportunities available in the local technology sector. The organization's mission is to train and mentor Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to transform their lives and communities. Through their programs, they connect young Black males with the skills, mentors, and experiences they need to excel as entrepreneurs and technologists in today's global economy. Led by a dedicated executive team, including CEO Brandon Nicholson, Ph.D., Chief Finance and Operations Officer Tariq Norris, and Chief Human Resources Officer Alicia Pinn, The Hidden Genius Project is committed to promoting equity in education and providing historically underserved youth with the tools for success. With programs such as the Immersion Program, Catalyst Programming, and the Alumni Venture Fund, they offer a comprehensive approach to empowering Black male youth in the technology industry. Get involved with The Hidden Genius Project and make a difference in the lives of young Black males. Plug in as a volunteer, explore partnership opportunities, or support their initiatives through donations. Together, we can create a more inclusive and prosperous future.
