The team behind Emile Learning is composed of passionate educators and builders who share a common goal of increasing access to education. Co-founders Felix Ruano and Michael Vilardo bring their unique experiences and expertise to the brand. Felix emerged from the second largest public school system in the country, LAUSD, to Harvard and McKinsey, while also serving as a founding board member of an education leader at the Asia Society.

Michael, on the other hand, hails from a small Chicago suburb and distinguished himself as the first Ivy League graduate from his town, ultimately earning his MBA at UCLA Anderson after completing his degree at UPenn, and gaining experience at Uber and Nike.
