Health Initiatives for Safety and Stability in Africa (HIFASS) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in October 2007 by Chief Dr. Roland Oritsejafor, a former Minister of State for Defence in Nigeria. Initially focused on meeting the health needs of military personnel and their families, HIFASS has expanded its services through partnerships with various organizations. Currently operating in 17 states, HIFASS offers free HIV care, prevention services, and support to vulnerable populations such as orphans, pregnant women, and caregivers. With a motto of "passion & partnership," HIFASS is dedicated to collaboration and skill-building with partners to enhance public health. Their goal is to improve access to quality healthcare, provide comprehensive interventions, and promote healthier communities. Through a range of services including health system strengthening, community health services, and training, HIFASS strives to address various health challenges and support populations in need.
