High Atlas Foundation is a Moroccan association and a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2000 by former Peace Corps Volunteers. Their mission is to promote sustainable development in Morocco. Since 2011, they have had Consultancy Status at the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The High Atlas Foundation focuses on various areas of development, including tree planting for carbon offset units, water infrastructure, women's cooperatives, education, intercultural dialogue and preservation, family literacy, and youth development. They work closely with local communities and prioritize their goals and initiatives through strategic, community-designed programs. Their unique approach involves capacity-building, which emphasizes participation, collaboration, and mobilization.

The High Atlas Foundation envisions a future where community planning movements and implementation are financially self-sustaining through carbon offset revenue and increased income from fruit tree agriculture.
