## Description

Higher Learning Ministries is a church founded from a vision received by Dr. Samuel Wright, Jr. on January 1, 2000, during a watch night service. In that same year, Dr. Wright accepted a position as an economist with the Bureau of Labor Statistics in Washington, D.C. The ministry shares Christian teaching and offers opportunities for worship, fellowship, and participation in church activities. Its website provides information about the church, its leadership and pastor, and how to plan a visit.

Music ministry rehearsals are among the church’s scheduled events, with recurring gatherings listed throughout the year. Visitors can also explore recent sermons, including “Encourage Yourself” and “I Am Coming Out of This Pit,” as well as news featuring Bible passages and reflections. Gallery pages offer a look at church activities and events. Higher Learning Ministries presents itself as a community centered on Christian faith, biblical messages, music, and connection, helping current members and prospective visitors learn about its people, programming, and ways to get involved.
