## Description

**Higher Plain Games**

Higher Plain Games is an independent gaming project dedicated to uncovering hidden gems in the gaming world. Operated by Simon Smith, who also manages the broader Higher Plain Network, this venture emphasizes transparency and integrity in game journalism, devoid of sponsorships or clickbait. The platform focuses primarily on PlayStation and PC content while also celebrating retro games dating back to the 1980s.

Offering a diverse range of content, Higher Plain Games features in-depth written and video game reviews, gameplay previews, and interviews with industry professionals. Additionally, it provides editorial insights into game design, emotional experiences, and even sim racing events. Unlike many gaming sites, Higher Plain Games strives to inform and educate rather than criticize, ensuring that every review offers constructive feedback aimed at helping gamers make informed choices. Support is encouraged through platforms like Patreon, allowing fans to access exclusive content and contribute to the sustainability of this unique gaming initiative.
