## Description

High Sierra Energy Foundation works to promote energy efficiency and sustainability across the Eastern Sierra, connecting residents, businesses, and public agencies in a rural region where resources and programs can be harder to access. The organization shares information and helps bring energy-saving opportunities and sustainability initiatives to local communities.

Its work includes the Power Saver Rewards program, SoCalREN programs for multifamily properties and public agencies, and the Eastern Sierra Green Business Program. The foundation also supports sustainability series in Inyo and Mono counties, LADWP outreach and community partnership efforts, and the RHTR Working Group. Its Green Guide offers information for people seeking practical ways to make more sustainable choices.

High Sierra Energy Foundation also provides education and youth initiatives, invites community input through activities such as the Bishop Paiute Tribe energy survey, and shares updates about rebates, workshops, and local programs through its newsletter. By connecting people with relevant resources and opportunities, the foundation aims to advance a more sustainable and resilient region.
