## Description

Hikingbench is a specialist brand serving dinghy sailors who want to build fitness and improve their hiking performance. Its adjustable exercise benches are designed to help sailors strengthen the muscles used while hiking, including the abdominal core. The brand promotes regular, practical training, noting that just 10 minutes a day can support sailing fitness.

Hikingbench offers several models to suit different dinghy classes, including the Laser, RS Aero, Topper, Solo, Finn and foiling Moth. Its range includes the Laser Pro, RS Aero, Elite, Classic Pro, Classic 119 and Classic 210 Hikingbenches, alongside spare parts and assembly information. Customers can explore product details and 3D models through the brand’s website.

The Hikingbench story began in 2009, when prototypes were tested with RYA Topper squad sailors. Since then, the range has expanded to include class-specific designs and has been exported worldwide. Hikingbench is now presented by Sailing Chandlery, which announced its acquisition of Hikingbench and Rigtube in 2026. The brand also shares development stories and sailing fitness information.
