## Description

HIMALI™ is a brand that was founded in 2014 by Dave Schaeffer and Tendi Sherpa, a legendary Everest summiteer and IFMGA climbing guide. Their friendship started at the base of Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, and is built on mutual respect and shared positivity. HIMALI™ is born from this international friendship and it creates premium mountaineering apparel while giving back to the Nepali community. The brand is #builtfortheclimb, utilizing high-end textiles and performance-based design to develop a range of apparel that can withstand the harshest conditions on Earth. Their logo reflects their mission, with the number 14 representing the 14 Eight Thousand Meter Peaks found in the Himalayas. HIMALI™ believes in the power of community and mentorship and actively uplifts the global community by partnering with social programs and providing gear to those in need. They also prioritize sustainability by using recycled materials, working with bluesign® system partners, and sourcing down from RDS certified suppliers. With HIMALI™, you can expect high-quality apparel that allows you to perform at your highest level while making a positive impact on people and the planet.
