## Description

Humans in Motion is a community-sponsored research lab focused on advancing robotics across sports and enterprise tasks. It brings together hardware, artificial intelligence, people, and compute partners to help researchers and builders explore how robots can learn, move, and act. The lab works across humanoid robots, robotic arms, and other hardware, while investigating different AI models and training methods. Compute partnerships support simulation, training, and experimentation.

At the center of the initiative is Arena, a shared space where researchers, builders, and partners can test ideas, take on challenges, and share their work. Arena connects the resources and community needed to move robotics research forward, offering a place to explore, train, and build. Humans in Motion’s stated mission is to make it easier for more people to develop more capable robots. The project also welcomes sponsors and contributors, including participation from the open-source community. By connecting technical resources with collaborative experimentation, Humans in Motion aims to support progress in robotics across a range of real-world tasks.
