## Description

The Hinchingbrooke Foundation is a grant-giving educational charity serving applicants in the Huntingdon area. It supports young people through educational benefits, hardship assistance and grants for local organisations. Most of its income goes toward special benefits and hardship bursary funds for pupils at Hinchingbrooke, St Peter’s and Huntingdon Regional College. The Foundation also awards grants to voluntary and youth organisations working with people under 25, helping local groups provide support and opportunities for young people.

Around a quarter of the Foundation’s income is reserved for individual bursaries. These are available to people under 25 who have attended a secondary school in Huntingdon for at least two years. Applications are considered three times a year, and bursary and grant application forms are available through the Foundation’s website. The charity is based at Hinchingbrooke School on Brampton Road in Huntingdon. The website also shares news and community links, while information about trustees and annual reports and accounts is available through the Charity Commission.
