## Description

Hioki Creations, Inc. is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to continuing Joyce’s mission through creative, child-focused projects. Its work uses stories, music, animation, and educational materials to encourage kindness, inclusion, learning, and community responsibility. Founder Mel created the Hungry Tummies and wrote a song to raise awareness of hunger and inspire people to do their fair share. He later developed additional characters and wrote The Adventures of the Hungry Tummies, including the story In Search of Food.

The organization’s offerings include children’s books, character-based learning content, free printable coloring pages, videos, and school reading and puppet-show activities. Its characters appear in educational topics such as stopping bullying, making friends, learning colors, counting, understanding left and right, and practicing safety. Hioki Creations also presents projects such as the Time for Ms. Ali pilot and encourages people to help feed hungry tummies in their communities. Through imaginative storytelling and accessible resources, the organization aims to make important social and educational ideas engaging for children.
