## Description

The American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS) is a premier organization dedicated to promoting excellence in hip and knee care through education, advocacy, and research. With over 5,000 members, AAHKS requires its fellow members to be board-certified and to perform a minimum of 50 hip and knee replacement surgeries annually. This commitment ensures that patients receive high-quality care from skilled practitioners.

AAHKS provides its members with access to cutting-edge education and research opportunities via professional journals, annual meetings, and international symposia. The organization actively supports patients by offering credible educational materials, addressing common concerns about hip and knee health, and advocating for improved access and care.

In addition, AAHKS is committed to serving medically underserved areas through initiatives like “Operation Walk” and regularly updates its guidelines and resources to reflect the latest advancements in joint replacement practices. If you’re considering a hip or knee replacement, seek the expertise of an AAHKS member surgeon for reliable and compassionate care.
