## Description

The Health Improvement Partnership of Maricopa County (HIPMC) is a collaborative initiative led by the Maricopa County Department of Public Health in partnership with public entities and private organizations. Its purpose is to bring community partners together to address priority health issues across Maricopa County through a shared Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). HIPMC partners work together to put the plan into action, coordinating community-wide efforts around identified health priorities.

The partnership convenes regular meetings and supports collaborative projects among its participants. It also highlights partners’ work and shares resources and insights from other communities to inform local efforts. HIPMC provides information about its structure, meetings, news, and the county’s Community Health Improvement Plan through its online resources. Community members and partners can subscribe to the HIPMC newsletter or submit content for consideration. Based in Phoenix, Arizona, the partnership offers a coordinated way for public and private organizations to connect, exchange information, and contribute to improving health in Maricopa County.
