## Description

Histoka is a French marketplace created for the living history community, including HEMA, buhurt, historical reenactment, collecting and heritage craftsmanship. Founded by history enthusiast and practitioner Mathias Sanchez, the platform aims to bring enthusiasts, craftspeople and professionals together in one specialised space.

Histoka helps users buy, sell and discover historical and sporting equipment, handcrafted items and collectibles. Its catalogue is intended to cover a wide range of references, including weapons, armour, costumes and accessories for different historical periods. For buhurt practitioners, the marketplace also aims to make it easier to identify equipment suited to their federation and practice.

The platform offers guided item listings, direct messaging between users, secure payments and tracked deliveries. Sellers are verified, and professionals can manage their shops, orders and reputations in one place. Histoka also seeks to connect buyers with specialised craftspeople and support a more visible, trusted community for historical makers.

The company is preparing a crowdfunding campaign and inviting early supporters, clubs, federations, associations and museums to help develop the marketplace and its network across Europe.
