# Historic Fort Cherry - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `historicfortcherry.org` ## Description Historic Fort Cherry is a nonprofit historical association and archive dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Fort Cherry School District area and nearby communities in Washington and Allegheny counties, Pennsylvania. Revitalized on the 250th anniversary of Cherry’s Fort, it continues the commemorative mission of the original Fort Cherry Association, founded in 1932 by descendants of the Cherry family. The organization focuses especially on 18th-century frontier settlers, family forts, and local Native American history, while also exploring later regional topics and significant landmarks. Historic Fort Cherry makes local history accessible through an online collection of articles and resources, along with books and maps. Its publications examine people, places, and events ranging from the Whiskey Riot to George Washington’s connections to Miller’s Run. The association also invites community members to volunteer, contribute donations, and visit its shop. With grant and donor support, it aims to mark important historic sites and structures. Its long-term goals include creating public educational replicas of Cherry’s Fort and the David and Margaret Reed house. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/historicfc) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/historicfortcherry) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8fgngnJk/w/337/h/122/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793038228605) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id8fgngnJk/w/967/h/967/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793038228899) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Oasis | #fdead2 | accent | | Red Berry | #8b0000 | dark | | Bridal Heath | #fffbf4 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
