## Description

HistoryBytes is a history-learning app for iOS and Android that turns the past into an interactive game. Its bite-sized lessons take about three minutes, making it easy to explore people, places, events, ideas and objects at your own pace. Learners can follow story-driven campaigns, review material in endless mode, challenge others in 1v1 arena duels and explore history on a world map. Lessons use illustrated cards and quizzes, while a collection of more than 3,600 cards rewards discovery and supports review.

The app offers themed seasons spanning eras and cultures, including ancient Rome, Viking history, Greek mythology, Egypt, samurai Japan and medieval Europe. Season 1, Emperors of Rome, is free forever, with more than ten hours of story; five episodes from each other season are also available free. HistoryBytes lists more than 1,200 lessons across six currently featured seasons, with additional seasons planned monthly. Optional Premium plans provide access to every season and expanded play, while a one-time founder purchase offers lifetime access.
