The regular online events are presented by historians, curators and authors, combining an informative presentation with an opportunity for attendees to ask questions. Topics span different periods and themes, from Viking society and the Norse earls of Orkney to Britain’s covert networks during the Second World War. Upcoming sessions feature specialists including Professor Alexandra Sanmark, historian Angus Konstam and author Alistair Moffat. Tickets for the listed forthcoming lectures are available for £10. History Scotland also invites visitors to join its newsletter to receive updates about new lectures and related offerings.
